Protocol Haemophilia Medication Therapy Adherence Clinic (HMTAC)

This protocol is meant for pharmacists in the Ministry of Health (MOH) who provide Haemophilia Medication Therapy Adherence Clinic (HMTAC) service. The protocol will serve as a guide for pharmacists to educate Haemophilia patients on appropriate management of the disease and its medication as well as adherence to the medication therapy, assess bleeding risk, and identify and solve drug-related problems.

Drug Utilization in the treatment of Diabetes Mellitus in the Ministry of Health facilities

Diabetes Mellitus (DM) is a chronic and potentially disabling disease. In Malaysia, it is a major clinical concern as the prevalence of Type 2 DM is increasing at an alarming rate. DM is a costly disease to manage because of its chronic nature and its complications. Healthcare institutions are challenged to manage the growing burden of this disease with limited healthcare resources.

Malaysian National Medicines Policy (DUNAS)

The Malaysian National Medicines Policy (MNMP), which was endorsed by the Malaysian Cabinet in October 2006, is the way forward for the nation to ensure good medicines management for better health outcomes of all Malaysians. The mid-term review of the policy was done in July 2009 followed by the full-term review in October 2012.
