MEDICINES SUPPLY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM FOR PHARMACY VALUE ADDED SERVICES (MyUBAT)

                                                  

INTRODUCTION

On the 28th of April 2021, the Pharmaceutical Services Programme, MOH has launched the Medicines Supply Management System for Pharmacy Value Added Services (MyUBAT). The system consists of 2 main components, namely:

  1. MyUBAT application in smartphones (user: patients); and
  2. Webconsole system using website (user: pharmacy staffs)

This system facilitates and expedites the process of registration and supply of follow-up medicines for patients from the MOH health facilities. It also allows patients to monitor pharmacy value-added service appointments through the MyUBAT application. In addition, the use of this system can also facilitates staffs in pharmacy facilities to manage the process of registration and preparation of the medicine at pharmacy counters more systematically.

SCOPE

MyUBAT can be offered to all patients who seek treatment and receive long-term prescriptions from MOH health facilities.

The expansion of MyUBAT system started on 15 April 2021 at all MOH health facilities. However, the expansion of this system is implemented in phases in which the first phase has begun on 15th April to 15th July 2021. It is expected that a total of 187 MOH health facilities will start implementing MyUBAT during the first phase. Please refer to the attached List of MOH MyUBAT Facilities which begun in Phase 1.

WHAT SHOULD YOU DO?

  1. Download the MyUBAT app via the App Store, Google Play or AppGallery
  2. Register for follow-up medicine supply services
  3. Check the status of medicine supplies or appointments
  4. Change the appointment date (if necessary)
