First Edition of the DMTAC Pocket Guide to Insulin Optimisation

First Edition of the DMTAC Pocket Guide to Insulin Optimisation was produced in 2023 as part of the Pharmaceutical Services Program of the Ministry of Health Malaysia (MOH). The purpose of this guide is to serve as a reference and manual for pharmacists managing diabetic patients receiving insulin treatment in healthcare facilities. It includes an explanation of the types of insulin and the selection of treatment including a guide to changing the insulin dose based on the type of insulin treatment and a suggested schedule for self-monitoring of blood sugar.
