Establishment of the NPCC which operates at Kuala Lumpur Hospital aimed to improve accessibility of drug information with accurate, unbiased and relevant for all health practitioners, patients and public. NPCC can be reached through toll free line 1 800 88 6722.

Monday - Friday                                       :  8.00 am - 5.00 pm

Saturday, Sunday and Public Holiday :  Closed
 

Prevention and Consumer Awareness Activity

Prevention and Consumer Awareness activity aims to educate consumers about the dangers of using unregistered pharmaceutical products.  Consumers will be exposed to the information regarding registered products,  how to check registration and notification status of pharmaceutical and cosmetic products on the market and how to make wise choices.

The activities include talks, exhibitions, and dialogue to public, agencies, and other organizations.

Classification of New Chemical as Poisons

New chemicals used as active ingredients in the production of medicines should be classified as a poison with the approval of the Poisons Board.

Issuance of Pharmacy Enforcement Authority Card / Authority Card for Identity Card Inspection (JPN 1/12)

The Pharmacy Enforcement Authority Card / Authority Card for Identity Card Inspection (JPN 1/12) are issued only to pharmacists working in the Ministry of Health Malaysia to carry out the enforcement duties. 

Application for Special Approval to Import Drug by Non-Registration Holder

This special approval is only given to non-registration product holder when the product registration holder are unable to supply the product for a reason.

Issuance of Permission to Import 'Test Kit' Containing Dangerous Drugs/ Psychotrophic Subtances

The permission to import 'Test Kit' containing Dangerous Drus/ Psychotrophic Substances is only granted to the Type A Poison License Holder (Wholesale / Wholesale and Retail) only.

Issuance of Export Authorization of Products Containing Dextromethorphan

The export authorization is granted to the Type A License holder (Wholesale or Wholesale and Retail) who are eligible to export preparations containing Dextromethorphan.

Issuance of Dangerous Drugs Wholesale License

This license is issued to a qualified Type A License holder to sell dangerous drugs as wholesale to another Type A License holder.

Issuance of Import/Export Authorization for Dangerous Drugs/Psychotropic Substances

These Authorizations are issued to Type A Poison Licence holders who are eligible to import or export dangerous drugs or psychotropic substances.

A Guide for Application of Import / Export Authorizations for Psychotropic Substances or Dangerous Drugs is provided to applicants who wish to apply for the Import / Export Authorization of Dangerous Drugs and Psychotropic Substances, which is issued by the Pharmacy Enforcement Division, Ministry of Health Malaysia.

Issuance of Import/Export Permits for Precursor Chemicals & Medicine Making Machine under Custom Act (Prohibition of Import/Export)

This permit is issued to a qualified Type A License holder (Wholesale or Wholesale and Retail) or to a qualified Type B License holder to import or export chemical precursor.  Application should be made online through http://epermit.dagangnet.com.
