Pharmacy Degree qualifications listed in the First Schedule, Registration of Pharmacists Act 1951 are the qualifications recognized by the Pharmacy Board and the holder of these qualifications can be considered as eligible for registration with the Pharmacy Board.

The provisional training for Provisionally Registered Pharmacist (PRP) must be carried out at the training premises listed under the Second Schedule of the Pharmacists Registration Act 1951. The premises are categorized into public and private training premises as follows:

Clinical pharmacy services offer monitoring services for warded patients by the pharmacists. The services including therapeutic drug monitoring, medication counseling and dispensing medications to discharged patients. Clinical pharmacists are involved in ward round together with other medical team. Clinical pharmacists are responsible for ensuring that patient treatment is at an optimal level, to ensure the patient's condition is stable, provide counseling as well as to promote the proper and effective use of drugs.

Extemporaneous preparations of medications.

This service is provided to cater the demand of requested syrup medicines that are not available commercially. This is especially to cater the group of patients that could not tolerate orally and children.
