GARIS PANDUAN PENGENDALIAN MEDICINES ACCESS SCHEME (MASc) DI FASILITI KKM (EDISI KEDUA 2024)

MOH facilities often receive Medicines Access Schemes (MASc) or medicines schemes offered by pharmaceutical companies to improve patient access to new medicines with high financial impact. Through cost and treatment risk sharing between pharmaceutical companies and MOH, MASc enables more patients to have access to the medicines needed at a lower or no cost.

MASc offered by pharmaceutical companies can be categorised into Patient Access Scheme (PASc), Patient Assisted Programmes Special Approval (PAPSA) and sample medicines. Garis Panduan Pengendalian MASc di Fasiliti KKM was updated (Edisi Kedua 2024) to ensure a more systematic and orderly implementation of MASc as well as the governance of medicines received.
