Journal of Pharmacy Quality Improvement Initiatives (PharmQIIs)

The Journal of Pharmacy Quality Improvement Initiatives (PharmQIIs) is a peer-reviewed journal published by the Pharmaceutical Services Programme (PSP), Ministry of Health Malaysia (MOH). This journal is one of our initiatives to share best practices and practical knowledge when conducting Quality Improvement Initiatives (QIIs). Thus, it will encourage and motivate more pharmacy professionals to take part in quality-based improvement initiatives to contribute and provide better health care services.

#MedSafetyWeek 2022

During the annual #MedSafetyWeek global campaign, National Pharmaceutical Regulatory Agency (NPRA) collaborates with the Uppsala Monitoring Centre (UMC, the World Health Organisation (WHO) Collaborating Centre for International Drug Monitoring), medicines regulatory authorities, and national pharmacovigilance centres around the world to raise awareness of medication safety and encourage reporting of suspected adverse drug reactions/adverse events following immunisation (ADR/AEFI).

The Journal of Pharmacy Quality Improvement Initiatives (PharmQIIs) is a peer-reviewed journal published by the Pharmaceutical Services Programme (PSP), Ministry of Health Malaysia (MOH) since 2022. PharmQIIs is set to publish manuscripts derived from Quality Improvement Initiatives (QIIs) that are conducted in Quality Improvement Reports (QIR) format.

List of Pharmacy Quality Initiatives That Have Received Recognition at the Program / Ministry / National / International Level

The Pharmaceutical Services Program, Ministry of Health Malaysia, constantly monitors and acknowledges quality initiative activities accomplished by pharmacy workforce throughout the country such as Innovation, Innovation & Creative Circle (ICC), Quality Assurance (QA), lean and clinical audit.

 

The Best Practice Sharing method is used to disseminate ideas and encourage other ground facilities to adopt and implement relevant initiatives in their respective places. In addition, it can avoid the repetition of existing ideas and encourage the proliferation of new brainchild, thus enabling more creative and innovative initiatives to be conceived benefiting the society and increasing services productivity.
